After the events of last Friday I told myself I need to keep my momentum and not become complacent, but I did not plan on the events of last night. I planned on staying in last night and was actually about to get into bed around midnight when I receive a text from a woman I had seen downtown the last two weeks and gave my number to. Text goes like this:

Her: What up it's X

Me: Who is this? (she used a nickname)

Her: :/ Xx (gives full name)

Me: Gotcha.

Her: Come to Y. I am here with a few cute friends and they want to meet you

Me: I just got home and I am laying in bed reading.

Her: Cute girls>reading or sleep

Her: Drinking>sleep

At this point I am thinking maybe one of my friends is playing a prank on me. I check her facebook and surprisingly she has her number listed and it matches the one texting me. Okay that is good enough. I tell her I am on the way.

I arrive at the bar order a $1 well drink, tip the bartender 100%, and go upstairs to find them. They are all sitting around a table with a decent number of empty plastic cups piling up in the middle. There are four girls and one dude. Before I grab a chair I introduce myself to everyone. All eyes are on me as I do this. I make sure to shake each persons hand while looking into their eyes. After they say their name I repeat it in a sentence and move onto the next. After I sit down the woman who texted me tells everyone at the table how I walked up and started talking to her a couple of weeks ago. She warns her friends that I am dangerous. I quickly retort and say something along the lines that I was an innocent patron at the bar and she found me (I am good at bullshitting stuff to put me down. I think I do this to get the woman to disagree with me and tell me I am too humble or something). Fortunately the response I am looking for is the one I get and she laughingly tells me I am too modest.

At this point I have been at the table for 5 minutes and no one has talked but me and the woman who texted me. Everyone is listening to us banter back and forth. I guess the woman to my right sees (chick who texted is to my left) her friend flirting with me and turns it on. The woman to my right is a 7.5 on the attractive scale. She grabs my arm and starts asking me about myself. After a couple minutes I tell her enough about me and ask her about herself.

From this point on I am talking to the 7.5 the majority of the time. I apply a little kino but feel awkward with everyone else at the table. Mainly I just maintain eye contact and make sure to keep a "sexy" smirk on my face. She starts making hints that she is too impaired to drive but not sloppy. After saying this for the third time I offer to drive her back along with another woman there. When I have dropped off the other woman she asks where we are going and I tell her it is a surprise. The surprise is my place.

We get to my house, I get her some water, I give her a clean toothbrush she can use (did not plan this ahead of time, but I saw I had one. She definitely appreciated it), and give her a L t-shirt to wear. She laughs when I give her the T and asks what she needs that for. You can see where this is going.

I actually liked talking to this woman and decided when we were in bed I was not going to have sex with her. I did not want it to be a one night stand. I told her I had a policy where I do not have sex the first time I meet someone. She laughs and tries her best to change my mind. It almost works but I keep my resolve. This just makes her crazier. We end up fooling around with our hands and I do something right, or she was faking.

After dropping her off this morning she is texting me back and forth and wants to hang out again soon.

I am finding that having success with woman requires networking. You never know when a woman you have talked to might open an opportunity for you with her or someone else down the road. So talk to everyone!

Update: Well she has been texting me solid all day Wednesday and Thursday. I am going on vacation tomorrow and she told me that she is pissed. Next week when I get back should be interesting. In the meantime I need to do some work at the ski resort I am going to.
