Can't believe I am writing this because I really thought my date night tonight was going to turn "alright" as in I might have gotten this girl back to my place but nothing was going to happen.

A quick synopsis of how I got into this position, was chilling in bars in Baltimore when I spot this really petite. I mean really extra small girl with her friend, I did an open, talked to her for a bit then got her number. The vibe with her wasn't perfect but it wasn't bad either. Here is where I was lurking on this sub as I usually do and stumbled on to the 3% man post. Major shout outs to /u/FlexForJesus

I of course thought that this was another hokey, psdeuo-science book by some dude who just happened to get girls. Boy was I freaking wrong. I had a date scheduled with the girl from the bar for Friday and the book said to set up the date and leave it alone. I've been on a dry spell recently so I said "fuck it" what am I going to lose. I read this book religiously since the day of the post all the way up until my day before the date. On the train, off the train, at home, at work, on my damn lunch break. Whenever and wherever I could. I thought to myself that if I really tried hard in order to follow this standard I might get something out of it. Or at least learn something.

The Day of the Date: As I said i was silent via text until the day of the date. I arrived at our meetup spot and gave her a buzz. She picked up and pleasantly said that she would be right down. And fellas, wow was she looking sexy! Short skirt, mid-rift shirt the whole 9. I gave her a hug got her into the car and we were off. I am sure she caught me staring at her legs and I wanted to compliment her really bad. But I remember the book telling me that compliments should be exposed bare. None of this "you look nice" bullshit. Tell her exactly what makes her look nice. My heart was pounding cause I was so nervous but I simply said the truth. I told her that she has really nice legs. To which she said a simple thanks. We chat like this until our date spot, we chatted for about an hour and a half, then we got into a decent conversation. I kept peeking at my watch and saw the time dwindling away I kept thinking "I have to close! I am wasting time I have to close!!" normally I don't pressure myself like this but closing is not my strong suit so I am forcing myself to get better.

I took another cue from 3% man and told her that we should go back to my place and watch a documentary since we were talking about them. She happily agreed which made me slightly impressed with myself. Heart racing again I tried to calm myself and get back into my center. This is not the first time i've bought a girl back from a first date, but this is the first time I bought a girl back this attractive on such a date. She really came off as a sweet innocent "be gentle with me" kind of girl. WROOOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGGG

Back at my place: We hop in my car and chatted a little bit while on the drive home, she explicitly mentions that we aren't having sex and that we are just going to watch this docu and chill, maybe cuddle. I specifically said "ok" and kept moving forward with the convo. We stopped to get some food then headed back to my crib. We got comfy watch basically the whole documentary and cuddled. Right at the end I made my move and started to kiss her on the neck. She didn't stop me so I kept going, eventually we started making out heavily and were all over each other. A few minutes of this I stood up and grabbed her hand and said "lets go" carried her to my room and kept making out again.

Serious LMR: During our make out session I tried to take off some of her clothes she was a bit resistant to it so I slowed down and took it more easy. This continued for a few more minutes until she outright said "i'm not in the mood, we aren't having sex"....my balls were blue fellas. I thought to myself "i can't believe this I got this far and thats it, it's over" I thought of the book again and remembered that girls say one thing but do another. At this point I switched from hearing what she was saying, to watching what she was doing. This turned out to be the best move I made all day! I won't get into it because its pretty explicit lol. But READ BODY LANGUAGE GUYS!! Please I beg of you read their body language. It will tell you all you need to know. It took about 30 minutes of LMR to get through and finally crest that hill. The sex was awesome to be honest and much, much needed. We had a great time and I hope I see her again, however I won't be texting her until next week as stated in 3% man. And if she doesn't want to hang again that's fine, I'll just go out and find another! I feel like this stuff is finally starting to click with me.

TL;DR: Read 3% man, followed it's advice, got me laid. Hope I see this chick again, if I don't it's not really a big deal. Gaining tons more confidence in myself.

Update: as promised here is the update after waiting about a week later. Contacted her again to plan a date this weekend, she was short and flakey with her response. As stated in 3% man i did a "take away" and said something like since you're busy lets do it another time. She ghosted me. So on to the next one i guess.
