anything you read about pheromones and whatever is all a marketing tactic. it won’t change you from a 0 to a 10 but it can be the difference between receptive and not receptive.

It’s just a small touch. It’s much better to do basic hygiene and be physically clean. This coming from someone who’ve had hundreds of them over the years and used to work for one of the frag corporates. Even if you have it and spray it, just do it 2-3 sprays max.

If you wanna collect them, then go ahead. It’s not a cheap hobby, tho. Make sure it’s for you. Meaning that you just wanna smell good and you love the scents on your body. It’s not for “how many compliments I get from the girls if I wear this” because I assure you that you’d get disappointed a lot. Don’t listen to those influencers on YT or tiktok who keep saying that shit (“this frag will get you compliments”).

It’s not necessary but it definitely helps. No better feeling than when a girl says you smell good. Do your research on different kinds and don’t blind buy when getting a fragrance.

Everything 'passive' is irrelevant.

In order to actually get results, you need to actively engage. If you do so, you're either reaffirming or undermining the character that would be implied.

At best, even if she loved it, you would have to live up to the inflated image. If you can, you didn't need it; if you can't, it isn't 'saving' you,

Ofc it makes difference, smell is one of our senses, so it's logical that if a girl smells something while approaching, it will make a difference. Not sure if it's big or small, but it DOES make a difference, so you should wear some all the time.

You literally only need two fragrances

Inoffensive/everyday/summer - light fragrance that you wear when going to a doctor, buy groceries, etc.
Winter/clubbing - you can have one for these two occasions, as in both cases you want stronger one, with higher projection

Don't buy designer fragrances, as they are super overpriced. Don't buy shit ones either though. I recommend Lattafa, look at https://www.parfumo.com/ to pick one with best price to performance ratio :)

It won’t make a difference by itself but women will certainly take notice. Personally, I know that anyone of the opposite sex appreciates the combination of the clean laundry smell with a hint of cologne from your skin. This combined with other practices of good hygiene are signs that you have your life together and are more likely to lead to further engagement.

I have a small fortune in Tom Ford Private Blends. The one I get the most compliments on is Beau de Jour which is in their next lower line. I always ask a woman if she is sensitive to fragrances before meeting and it seems a lot more than I thought actually are.

Depends on what kind you wear. Most guys basically buy the same thing . A lot of the big names just bottle up and sell the same fragrance with a different name. So get something more unique.

I personally rock the "Thomas Kosmala #10 " and I get compliments on it daily . I don't usually wear any others but if I do it is usually another Thomas Kosmala fragrance. It's a bit pricy for a 3.3 FL OZ bottle at $235 per but this fragrance really is a game changer . I'm a very introverted person so my scent , style and the way my body looks is really all I've got going for me and it helps me standout in the best way.

I would recommend seeing if any shops near you have samples of the stuff. I live near a Dillard's and they have a bunch of the Thomas Kosmala line that you can get samples of . See what works best for you . But my favorites are TK#10, TK#6,TK#4 and TK#3 . The unfortunate news is there are like 5 different versions of #4 a few versions of the others too. So do your homework and see which you like the best and what gets you compliments and good looks.

Each person will REALLY like some fragrances so with some women you can get very lucky if you wear a specific cologne. But in general there is a huge difference between smelling like sweat and having good hygiene and smelling of something good.

I’ve had conversations start solely because of how I smelled. But the key to it was a conversation “starter” you do have to have all you’re other areas in check but it does help. Furthermore, smell plays a tremendous role on human psychology

It helps some women like it more then others. Some people act like it’s a superpower or something. I think it’s over exaggerated you don’t need a collection of 5+ colognes IMO girls won’t care that much. You should probably invest in yourself in another way.

They can make a difference positive or negative.

Positive: Some women really like it, if it's not overwhelming (lots of guys use too much).

Negative: Some women won't like it, or worse: are allergic to it.

It's never going to be a dealbreaker if you smell like nothing. But it can be a dealbreaker if you smell like a certain cologne or fragrance she's allergic to or just doesn't like. So wearing it comes with risk and potential reward.

I personally never use cologne on a date. I don't think the benefits outweigh the risks. But I do use a deodorant that has a mild lime / bergamot scent. A study I read showed that people on average prefer the lime / bergamot scent over almost all other fragrances. So I'm sticking with science.

one cheap fragrance for regular days and slightly expensive one for special occasions is enough.

If it helps you standout more, you can invest in a collection. But developing other areas of life would be more beneficial.

If you are using a good perfume you will probably still notice your scent working for 6-8 hours from morning to evening, while a cologne will last for about two hours, so if you bring it with you there is no problem, otherwise consider using a good perfume. Smelling good is a sign of good hygiene because you use perfume after showering, otherwise it makes no sense.

They do make a difference.

Subconsciously, whenever you smell a thing, food, or person for the first time, you tend attach whatever scent was on them. What smells good is subjective to everybody but the imprint that your sense of smell can have on it is quite real (especially speaking from experience). Even when you don’t get the compliments you want, trust me, people still notice.

TLDR: Strongly depends on the girl / personal taste...

Some will love your natural smell, after working out... And you would only hide that behind fragrance... "With that fragrance, it's not YOU", as I've been told in the past :D

And some will love a concrete fragrance, especially if she has had a good history with that smell... But some will absolutely despise the same one...

However, if your out there in a club, a special one that nobody in there has can make you show up on her radar (get her curious about you) way before you talking to her..

Just be sure you know the right dosage of whatever you have (Eau de toilette VS Eau de parfum VS Parfum, etc...)

Tuscan Leather, noir de noir, oud wood ....... There are so many great ones. But the lower line is strong also. Ombre Leather, Tom Ford Extreme, Black Orchid, Grey Vetiver are all very nice fragrances that won't have you smelling like the other guys and won't break the bank.
