\*This is aimed at newbies, who know about pick-up but aren’t motivated to go out and practice. I’d like to try and motivate you, by explaining how I saw pick-up when I was a newbie.***

Ever since I was 18, my favourite thing to do was go out to the clubs.

You can go out with your mates, act like an idiot and try to hit on girls, who are tarted up to the nines (albeit with a few drinks inside you at the time).

I had my one-night stand at aged 18.

To my teenage brain, it was such an ADVENTURE to be able to walk over to some random hottie, talk to her, HAVE SEX with her that night and wake up next to her the next morning. That girl became my girlfriend (so a few months of awesome times just from that one decision to say hi).

From then on, I was HOOKED. Now this REALLY was my favourite thing to do in the world.

Perhaps I was ‘lucky’ enough to be able to occasionally have sex from cold approach before learning about game, but even TRYING was so much fun. Way better than not trying.

So when I learned it was possible to learn how to become more successful at doing this, I was immediately bought in. The fact you could learn to do it sober, save a ton of money, not get hungover and therefore go out as much as I wanted, only motivated me more!!

I went out 4-5 days a week from day one. I had near-on sleepless nights (when pulling). I had those nights when no-one liked me. It was still more fun than not going out - and I knew the more I’d get better the more I practiced, I was learning.

To this day, I’m still excited to do it.

  • The long-term motivation of “perhaps my next girlfriend is at this club” excites me
  • But the short-term motivation of: being completely socially free, having a hot girl listen to me talk and doing something more memorable than sleeping or watching TV does too!

Why might some people be demotivated?

  • Game doesn’t work for me...

My previous Reddit post explains how you can show yourself that game works for everyone

  • I don’t want to get rejected all night…

This is the ego talking. Get rid of the ego and admit that you’re already a guy who sucks with girls. That’s one step up from the guy who sucks with girls, but is trying to improve.

Either way, when people see you get rejected at in a bar or club, they probably think you’re just another one of those douchebags just like everyone else. Again, that’s a step up from the guy who stays at home not trying. (At nighttime, I generally believe it’s seen as more creepy to stand around not talking to people.)

  • Logistical reasons

I live too far from the clubs/I can’t afford to go out/I have no wingmen etc

This is PERHAPS understandable. All I can say is that it’s worth sorting these problems out for yourself. I lived in London, where all the good clubs were 30/45 minutes away, but I made it work...

If there are any other reasons to be demotivated that I missed, please let me know

I recently co-launched Whatsapp and Telegram groups for men who want to become amazing with women. These brotherhoods are perfect for those who need a touch of motivation to improve their game. Drop me a PM if you want to join.

(P.S I’ll do another post like this for daygame in the future)
