Hey guys, this is a rookie question as I've been out of the game for 4 years in a LTR.

I had a date with a girl that seemed to go well a couple weeks ago, she texted me 'I had a GREAT time', and when I proposed hanging out again, she seemed really stoked. I went out of town for a few days but we kept in contact via text here and there, she texted me happy birthday etc.

So the day we were supposed to meet up she bails an hour before the date, saying she had a bad day at work. I play it cool and just text 'no worries'. I text her the next day to see if she was free that weekend. She said she was later Sunday, so I reply saying. 'Cool, let's touch base Sunday.' And of course I get no replay Sunday at all, haven't heard from her since.

This is rather unusual. I've had all matter of failures and success in the game, but I can usually tell if there is no spark or if shes not very interested. In this case, she seemed really interested in seeing each other again, and I all I did was present that opportunity. How the hell did I manage to scare the cat here? :/ I find it rude to just ghost someone for seemingly no reason, even if she ended up banging some other dude, getting back with her ex, whatever, SOME communication would be adult like.
