I will try to limit the details to preserve the identities of people involved. I was vacationing somewhere in Europe for a few days, just chilling spending some time around the city and in nature. On my last day, I decided to go chill at a local irish pub where I met a lovely bartender there, we'll call her Sarah. The pub was empty so it was just us and I decided to talk to her a bit so I did. We exchanged names and then talked a bit about how the pub was emptier than usual, then some general conversation. She is 24F and I'm 22M. Told her a bit about myself, what I do for school and work and she did the same. Then, I told her a bit about a challenging hike I did close by to the city and showed her some pictures. Overall, she was pretty engaged in the conversation and it wasn't really one sided. Then, her colleague arrived and it was time for her to go grab some food. I proposed I walk her to whatever restaurant she is going to then I walk back to the train station to catch my train home. On our way out, she asked me if I had an instagram or a way we can keep in contact, which caught me off guard because I didn't expect it. We then exchanged numbers and she told me she would text me if she ever got a mobile home/caravan. This is something she mentioned wanting to buy in our conversation, she is pretty outdoorsy and likes to be around nature too. We also agreed on doing the hike together again if I come back around. All in all, sounds good in theory. Fast forward to now, she hasn't responded to my texts except the first one saying "hi, this is me! Sending this so you can save my number too :)" to which she replied with a thank you, nice meeting you and wishing me well on my trip. To be fair, I did go overboard and triple text. First one was letting her know I made it fine after my 10+ hour train ride and asking her how work was going. Few days later, I uploaded an unlisted youtube video vlogging my hike and thought I'd send it to her so I did. Just yesterday, which would be two weeks after my last text, I just sent her a "Hey" basically checking if she is around or not. I am a bit confused as to why things turned out this way, I am open to any advice or speculations from your part! Thanks :)
