When I am speaking to people, should my mind be completely empty?

People on Seddit tell me "say whatever is on your mind, no mater what it is, even if it's 'you have nice tits' " ,but according to Tolle, nothing should be on your mind; it should be completely empty. Am I interpreting this Tolle thing wrong? Does anyone have and insight or advice?

Tyler Durden suggests Tolle all the time and says to focus on being present and not thinking. If I am saying my thoughts, aren't I still thinking?
