How can I approach in a classroom setting?

There’s this girl across the room in my chemistry class who I catch staring at me once or twice per class, how could I go about approaching her. I feel like it’s a little more difficult because I can’t just start small talk as if she were sitting near me and # close.

Does anyone have any advice?
