My number one enemy with girls has always been overthinking things.

Slowly, I've learned to become better with it and really stop overthinking how to do things, what to say, what to text, when to text etc. I've been also learning to become more confident with me and who I am, seeing myself as the prize because I have a good career, I'm fit, and have an active social life. In dating, I've been learning to do what I feel like or say because at the end I know that if this specific girl isn't feeling me, there are other who will.

Since I started the above, my dates have been more interesting and there's been more reciprocity / attraction with some of the girls I've seen (not initiating text / communication all the time, for one)

Mark Manson has been a great source of advice and his book models has been as well. I also did therapy for a bit and have talked to one of my friends about being comfortable with yourself and saying what you want to women because at the end, if it doesn't work out, there are plenty of them.

I'm currently dating and seeing what's out there. And then I decided to give another book a try - "How to become a 3% man" By Corey Wayne.

I finished reading it a few days ago and now I'm back to being confused, I feel like i did myself a disservice by reading and filling my brain with more do's and dont's. Some of the messages in his book do resonate with me (not being needy, giving her space, being indefferent to her actions). Then there's some stuff that really doesn't make sense to me (remaining a mystery all the time, reading her body language as she gives you her number or does minimal things, saying or doing specific things to pass her "tests") for example, there's one part where he says he sticks his tongue out or moves his finger to get a woman's attention and talk to them. Really? some of it just started sounding like pick up hacks to me.

Learning is always good but is there a point where too much reading just paralyzes you? any advice to deal with this?
