Honestly it's simpler. Take your fucking headphones out of your ears, don't play with your phone when your bored and interact with your surroundings and the people around you. It's a simple as talking to everyone, this will make it more natural going up and like you said just talking to her, that's all it really is.

In a way, it is that simple. If you don't approach a girl and talk, nothing happens at all. Even a master PUA has to approach girls and talk, or nothing happens.

But after that, like all human affairs, it's not so simple. It's not too hard, lots of guys do this stuff without even thinking about it. But you can make it harder, you can even make it too hard.

Yeah that is the beginning.

It is a balance to doing anything in this world, and this topic is no different. You must make sure that when you approach, your approach is authoritative but gentle. You have to bathe in confidence and be assured of what you're discussing. Don't just walk up to a chick and start talking about WoW, or air cooled engines, or the Rugby World Cup. Scope a chick, comment about how pretty her sundress is and introductions ensue. Then some slight of hand must be created in order to continue a serious but light-hearted conversation. This is when you begin the game of ping-pong (your dialogue goes back in fourth in a banter manner).

This isn't like driving an automatic transmission where you cruise up to speed. You need to be tactful of your next move. For me this is similar to a manual transmission.

Approaching is in 1st gear, the hardest area to work with. Has the most torque (initial interest), and can stall your engine (the conversation) if not manipulated properly.

2nd gear to me are the next 2-4 minutes. You've gotten rolling, but not "rollin'". It's still slow and powerful. You have to solidify AMOG, and exude that confidence. Continuing with 3rd, 4th, etc., do you see where I am going with this?

You have to be cognizant of the current conversation but always thinking about, risk analyzing and your next move. I don't mean to make it look like the work of a hedge fund banker or floor trader. It's not that complicated (it can seem initially). But when out socializing, I usually shoot down really bad ideas that would kill the vibe of the folks around me.

Hey man, we're here in this seddit to help you through this process. But we can only do so much. It starts with you and your confidence in yourself. Read up on male style, pick up a socially popular hobby, begin to challenge yourself to banter with people anywhere and everywhere (not badger). Whether is be a cashier in the fast food window, telemarketer, bank teller. Get your mind sharp in order to think of small talk and light put-downs (known here as "negs"). Beginning this will be essential to your development.

My question for you is a line from a Jhene Aiko song; "Will you bounce back... or bounce backwards?" It's when you bounce back... Those are the people people enjoy talking to ;)

TL;DR: Build your self-confidence first. Then go out there chasing after wild game!!

When I was on spring break I went out of my comfort zone and started talking to the hottest girl at the bar. She was holding her card out waiting for the female bar tender to actually come over to her so I busted her balls about it a bit. From there we just started talking...

Later when I got her a drink, I asked her how many guys had already bought her drinks that night. She said I was the first. What I learned that night is that most guys don't have the balls to talk to the really beautiful girls so if you have the balls to talk to them, they're generally very receptive to it. Just give it a shot :)

Why would they keep walking? If someone came up and talked to you, even if you found them massively unattractive, would you just ignore them? Of course you wouldn't, you're not an asshole! And neither are the majority of other people, so just go and say hey, it'll work wonders :)

Last I checked, girls are also human, so I'd guess most would have the same reaction. Also, hot girls are not a separate breed, don't treat them differently
