With friends, you don't run out of things to say right? Just keep her on as a friend. Maybe with some escalating sexting when you feel like it.

I don't believe in the friendzone, so when things are clear again, just meet up and get back to it.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately and I think we have to come to term with the fact that things are going to be shitty and keeping them warm is rather unlikely.

Sure you can video calls, have virtual movies nights and whatnot. That may be cute and good enough for something like a 1 month quarantine or something, but everything seems to show that we'll be in that situation for 2 or 3 months (even more maybe). That's a very long amount of time to keep someone engaged if that person isn't already all over you and even then, it just gets boring after a while.

So I'd say to just write/call every now and then when you feel like it, without trying too hard. Hopefully by being somewhat present, when the times will come to actually meet she'll be there. But you have no guarantee of that so just operate from the assumption that yes, this lockdown may just kill a story that could have been good. It's outside of our control and there's not much we can do about it.

That or you talk with the girl and convince her to be like: "Fuck it, let's meet anyway at your/my place". I'm not advocating to do that but plenty of people will probably do that so yeah...

I'd like to be proven wrong however, but I think this lockdown is the ultimate cockblock and the earlier we accept it, the easier it will be. Then we can only hope that things go back to normal soon (they won't because we're heading for an economic crisis after that lmao. Fun times!)

Or maybe 3 weeks of quarantine and not meeting girls or exercising has killed my optimism and hope, idk lol.

1) you could just tell her straight that she should get in touch when things get back to normal. Let her know the doors open. No need to keep her “warm” for weeks and weeks. It’s exhausting and frankly a waste of time.

Or 2) you can have fun with it. Something I’ve done is I’ve gotten into writing erotic stories. I play out fantasies with girls I’m talking to. Just be sure to be very descriptive in scenes, noting sights, smells, textures, sounds, tastes. Really bring her into the world you are creating. Take your time and build slowly. Use similes and metaphors. Then say “hey I’ve been working on an erotic short story during my down time. Wanna check it out?” Then send her pieces of it, cutting off at best parts, just before a crescendo, leaving a cliffhanger- just like on tv shows. They fucking love it.

Depending on how much you write, this could drag on for weeks if you send her only two bits per week or something.

Plus side is you get to exercise your creative side.

the only good thing about this situation as that the girls are getting just as desperate as guys usually are for ways to connect. They'll probably find ways to make it easier because they cant just go to class and have 3 guys flirting with them the next day which gives them outcome independence in a normal situation

The same way you would keep things warm during non quarantine... everything else is out of your control but don’t over text her & come off as needy just to keep “ warm” ... you’ll be fine if she was really interested in you and she wont forget that.
