Ever since arriving at college, I have been rejected by nearly every woman I've asked out. This problem happened before beginning college, but it unfortunately has never ended.

People seem uncomfortable around me. Women in particular. I had this class with a girl I would have casual talk with for an entire semester, before I could get the words out at the end (for a cup of coffee), she ran away. Yes. She fled.

I have discussed this with family and friends and they don't know what's going on (or they do and won't tell me). Despite the searching, it doesn't seem to be getting any better.

I'm a relatively confident person. I'm introspective and reflective but not necessarily an introvert. I'm lonely. A man can only go so long without a woman's touch let alone human connection.

Any advice? I'd be willing to elaborate more if you would like some more info.

Edit: I do not have bad hygiene. I dress well and always shower and make sure I have cologne on. As far as being described as creepy or anything similar, hasn't happened, at least according to those closest to me. I don't dress or act in a way that would be described as creepy.

In terms of manners, I've been described as "disciplined" and try to take an objective approach to people and situations.

My interests are philosophy, theoretical sciences, theology, literature, etc. I am quite conservative but tend to distance myself from political conversations unless absolutely necessary. I do not avoid necessary confrontation and have strong convictions on certain issues.

I have a dry sense of humor and don't seek to harm or hurt anyone in any way.

Edit 2: I try to treat everyone the same. Man or woman. Do I check women out? Yes. But I'm not staring at them from beyond the quad or viewing them as goddesses, either lol.

I have friends who are girls, too. Although I haven't discussed much with them about this situation, they haven't mentioned anything.

I don't like the idea of "numbering" my level of physical attractiveness. Different women like different types of men.

Edit 3: I'll give more details. I say I don't like rating because it comes off too superficial. I will give a little more detail.

Physically, I'm about 6'1 and 200 pounds. Beard, dark hair and darker complexion. I have been described as cerebral, but I have also been described as passionate.

I like exercise. Walking. Writing. Hanging with people. Music. Concerts. Podcasts. All the rest lol.

I am an old soul.
