To start, I know not everything works in every situation. I also know having a specific plan (itemized list) to pickup a girl is not great. I spend a good amount of time in the side bar and read many of the posts and comments here... the issue is, I feel very overloaded by all these concepts and honestly don't know where to start! There are so many different theories and so many different procedures that these guys suggest but I find it difficult to put them all together in a way that everything works. My biggest problem is that I know so many different ideas that I forget them ALL when its time to implement them because there are so many roads that could be chosen.

What I'm looking for is some advice on a basic fairly easy to remember steps that I can learn, then grow upon if they fail or adjust for the situation.

Situation: There is a girl at a bar.

Would I grab her eye contact first? Then walk up and say "Hello" (nothing fancy). Do I shake hands with her? High five? (introducing touching) Should I stand at a regular distance, then after a bit move into her space slightly? What kind of phrases do you like to fit in or have worked for you? What are some conversational goals? - This one is a really big one I'd like to know. What points do you try to hit on when talking to a woman?

Again, I know not everything can be structured but I just need a solid basic foundation that's easy to remember and can be built upon!
