It’s going to be hard to know without seeing your interactions. But, when you close it should be obvious to you both it led that. Sounds like you aren’t generating enough if any attraction.

Are you self amused? Is she joining your party and being led by you? Are your interactions man to woman? Is that clear in your intent? Is the interaction escalating to sex? Is there any sexual tension?

The reason it's not working is because you are making sex the goal of the date/interaction and by extension you are making sex with her the prize. She is picking up on that and it's turning her off. The whole idea that you need to get every girl that you talk to in bed needs to die. Seriously. Having sex with a woman is really a reward for her for being worthy of your time. It's not a reward she's giving you.
