The goal of seduction is not to see how many phone numbers you can get or how many girls you can sleep with, it is a path to cultivate the person you want to be so you can cultivate the relationships you want to have. That is why you see a wide variety of views as to how to approach the art of seduction. some people want lays some people want girlfriends and wives and this can change depending on where you are. If you want ONS work for it. If/when you want the wife and 2.5 kids work for that. You can always change your approach to seduction based on where you want to go. If you're not ready you're not ready. I have friends that are 23 and happily married and friends that are 35 and happy being single and doing the ONS and dating scene.

You got me beat by a fucking long shot. I'm 42, never been married, and feel that I missed the boat. I spent my college years working 2 jobs to pay for school, so I had very little social life, and even less money or inclination to go out when I did manage to find some free time. Then after I graduated I was still making shit money and working long hours in the summer so I could afford to live when winter came and hours got cut.

I thought long and hard about it when I was a lot younger, but realized that I could barely take care of myself, let alone someone else - I didn't want any potential kids to live in poverty and wanted to wait until I could afford to have them. Of course, I thought it wouldn't take that long before I started rolling in the dough. Unfortunately I never made more than $30k/yr until two years ago. Fortunately, I figure the way things keep going, maybe I can use Tony Randall as a role model.

You are not alone... whats the point of marriage when after 2 kids its 75% (or even more) chance you'll get tired and Divorce. Then you go Broke after she gets Half of everything you ever had or built , takes your house and cars and leaving you miserable for the rest of your life (In most cases)

Similar situation. I don't view it more as not the right choice for me at the present time. Maybe it will be in the future. Maybe it won't. Given that I don't know this, I think the key is to just be flexible, continually reevaluating what makes me happy and what I want long-term, setting goals to obtain what I want, and then pursuing those goals.

I am in the same age bracket and in the same boat feeling about marriage exactly the same. I think we are simply behind our alloted dating quota in life that people have to go through before settling down.

Do not delude yourself on the notion of being more developed than others: intellectually we definitely are, emotionally we are rather undeveloped.

You're not alone and no it's not rare. Good for you for deciding what you want out of life. Most people never stop to ask themselves what they want and just go with whatever it is society expects them to do.

It's your lifestyle and it seems you are perfectly content with it :) Congratulations.

There's nothing wrong with that man, you're not old though you have plenty of time if you change your mind. If you don't want to get married and have kids though, don't sweat it, you won't be the first nor the last man to do it.
