Is any advice from Pickup Artists good?

Peacocking, negs, routines, DHV, cold approach, warm approach, social proof, being congruent, are all good. The idea works, not only in dating, but in sales-marketing (social media advertising, cold calling, door knocking, script memorizing, elevator pitch) and general life. Check those out.

And it's Persistence, not Forcing. Understand when it's still Persistence, and when it has became a Forcing. One bad post doesn't legitimize you to bash the whole idea.

I like books "Model" by Manson, and "Game" by Style, also free articles in GirlsChase, some writings by Chateau Heartiste, and all blogpost by PUA SocialKenny. They all logically made sense to me.

Yet, you seem already has your own idea and opinion, and not open to any perspective differed from your own. So, what's the point of this post anyway?

Hello, actual physical living breathing woman here. PUA shit is extremely obvious and a huge turnoff to any woman who doesn’t have literal dog turds for brains. If your goal is just to sleep with a beautiful dumbass, then I guess full steam ahead. But if you’re trying to find an actual mate I’d skip it. Honestly I don’t know any women who wouldn’t list lame PUA script attempts as a top dealbreaker when choosing whether or not to engage with a stranger. Especially negging, holy fucking shit. If some asshole in a bar tried to neg me I’d make him cry.

I'm gonna go off on a bit of a rant here but the answer is quite complicated I think.

So I think the biggest problem with PUA's is that they only talk from their own experience, I have yet to see one on YouTube or wherever that actually have any kind of degree in psychology.

Now you might think, well those PUA's do have a lot of experience right? That's true but let's be realistic, even the best PUA's will only find success on 5% of the women they approach, they will then try to sell that as if they know what the majority of women want. Just think about that, 5% isn't a majority, they may know what the type of women they are attracted (or the type of women that are attracted to them ig) to like but if you're not attracted to the same type of women than some advice they give might actually be more detrimental than helpful. That's not to say that PUA's never give good advice though, I find that almost all PUA's will give some advice that is generally good, it's just that you should take what they say with a grain of salt and see if it applies to you personally.

If there is a PUA out there that fits with you, your values and your personality than that's great (rarely the case for introverts IME), just remember that none of them are actually experts on what all women want.

I did therapy for a year. Imagery rescripting and inner child work. In one of the sessions I had a breakthrough, a spiritual experience during the imagery part of the session. After that I felt ok to be myself, like there was nothing wrong with me. That helped the most with my 'game'. I recommend therapy instead of pickup artists or dating coaching (with a few exceptions). What therapy does is it holds a mirror to you so you can see yourself, and it can repair the inner shame and insecurities you have. Then your interaction with a woman will be whole and complete without the insecurities manifesting in your interaction. Women have a way better radar for sub-communication, body language, tone of voice. If you're running a pua script for interacting with a women but you are sub-communicating neediness or insecurity then it becomes unattractive and the script is going to fail.
