I am not a shy guy.

But meeting a girl for the first time. Especially when she is attractive. I have to psych myself into a confident stance before hand.

My selfesteem is ok but varies. It seems when I am tired or having an off day. I usually don't get anywhere with women. Because I tend to show a hint of insecurity.

It seems to me it is a deciding factor of my succes. Even a little shyness or hesitence and women tend to reject me.

It makes me wonder if confidence is all that there is to the dating game.
