So I have a very slim body type. For reference, I weigh 135 lbs at 6 feet tall. I've tried to gain weight to not look malnourished, but the fact of the matter is, I'm as healthy as possible. My doc confirms this.

But I've tried gaining muscle mass as well. I took an hour-a-day 7 day a week work out routine for a solid 6 months and gained no weight. Some slight noticeable build improvement, but only to myself. After years of trying to "fix" my small build, I've just come to accept this is who I am and I don't care what anyone else thinks about it.

But I see a lot of advice on hear that says physical improvement is important, but I was under the impression this was along the lines of "the better you look, the better you feel." I kind of feel like as long as I present myself in a confident way, and own how I look and not be ashamed of it, then the same applies.

Am I delusional?
