A lot of companies will allow you to ask like you did. It’s when you keep trying that it becomes a problem. I’d say consider it a no, and move on. No big deal.

Don’t let it become awkward. Act normal with the girl as if it’s not a big deal at all. What women worry about is guys who won’t take no for an answer, or make a big deal out of it all, etc…

yes. its called politeness. what else is she supposed to say? you aren't exciting or hot enough for me? she has to see you around the halls. random excuses mean never. if she wanted you she would have said yes.

VERY HARD no. Women are always afraid that a guy who gets rejected will get angry and lash out at her, or get obsessed and stalk her, or worse. Because it happens all the time.

think about it like this, how would you turn down a girl if she asked you out but you weren't interested in her? Would you be an asshole or would you be polite?

If she got out of a long term relationship, and she doesn't want to jump into another one. Dates probably won't be appealing to her.

But just because she got out of a relationship doesn't mean she isn't craving casual sex if the right guy came up to her.

Her calling you a nice guy, pretty much tells you how you presented yourself to her. You're not sexually appealing.

In her mind, based on your behaviour, she can't picture you two having sex. She can't picture you being sexually dominant over her. She can't picture you giving her orgasm.

Its a no for dating. But in the future, could be a "yes" for sex, depending how you behave towards her.
