I think Mystery was so into using magic because his style of game involved winning over large mixed sets in high-end nightclubs. It was a gimmick to buy him time to "neg his target" and run all his usual Mystery Method stuff.

I can't help but feel that a guy using it is try-hard. That being said, if you really are trying to seduce the HB9.9 Hollywood starlet while she's with a group of 8 alpha males, it's probably the best thing you can do.

For the rest of us who just want to have normal interactions, magic is silly to use.

I find things like palm reading/cold reads/small mini games a lot better than magic tricks in most situations.

If you must use magic then card tricks are the best as you can do a LOT of different tricks with just one set of cards. Thing is if you're using cards at night time then everyone is gonna be drunk so you might as well just palm read her and say "This line means my dicks going inside you tonight".

I'm a professional magician, which means I could go for hours for a group of 50 people, generating tons of IOI's.

If you aren't a magician, I wouldn't open with a magic trick- it comes across as a little too try-hardy, too gamey. It is hard to transition into a normal pick up after something so cheesy. Just go with a simple introduction.

Later on while you are in set, if you do a little silly magic trick, now that would be money, it would build attraction and give you something to joke/tease/talk about later on. Nothing to serious or complicated, just something light and fun.

Just my 2 cents, but if it works for you, go with it.

A stupid little trick i like. Straws. If you are like at a resturaunt/bar and drinks arrive. Take your straw if its still got the paper covering and hold it firmly up and down in your fist. Knock it lightly but firmly until the straw breaks through the paper covering. Carefully grab the paper end at the bottom end with one hand and the exposed straw with the other. Remove the straw quickly without changing the straws shape. Whip it against the wall. The static built up in it will make it stick to most kinds of walls.

I like whipping it against the wall with no focus on it, like you would if you threw something away. When people notice it and ask, just say magic in a really bland 'this explains it' voice. Not sure if it is really all that great but i like it. NOTE: Practice before showing off

Google the cube game. Learn it. Try it. Its not so much a magic trick as much as a game. Not only to women love games but they love to be told about themselves. It works about 80% of the time and is a great opener. If it doesnt work you still have an ice breaker.
