I have just one day left at my current job. I've always had the hots for one of my managers. I was at my desk and I was reading some stuff over there in the sidebar and thought, "fuck it. I'm going for it." I started out joking around with her, much like I always do. After a while I said, "What are we going to do now that I won't be around anymore? You won't be able to see me anymore. Maybe I'll take you with me." We laughed, everything was all lighthearted. I even snuck in a little kino by touching her hand when it was on my desk. It was a solid, intentional touch, and I made sure she knew it. But it was still lighthearted. She smiled. I kept good eye contact most of the time. Then I don't remember exactly how I said it. I just displayed my vulnerability and went for it. I stumbled over my words, but I got it across that I'd like to go out with her. She instantly said yes. It was really surprising. One thing, though: She asked me if this was one of my jokes, like I wasn't serious about asking her out. I said no, I really wanted to go out. I got her digits and we are set up for Saturday night. I'm trying not to get too excited. I keep reminding myself that I deserve to have girls that want to go out with me. But I've been one of those forever alone guys for a while now. I'm trying to focus on my inner game right now, getting my mind right. I think all the outer game will fall into place when I get my inner game right. We'll see how Saturday night goes.

But thanks for being a great resource, I am learning a lot.
