This post will not only help you navigate through a breakup, but also to become a more attractive version of you after your ex left.

If she ended things after years of a relationship:

•Don’t stay friends with her unless you are okay with and can handle seeing her with another guy, when you don’t lose your shit and when you don’t get jealous or controlling if she suddenly stops responding to your calls and texts as frequently as she used to. Because she wont put her life on hold just because you still love her. She will meet other guys and prioritize letting go. It’s just a matter of time especially if she’s a really attractive girl with abundance.

Generally speaking though, keeping an ex girlfriend around as a friend fresh after ending a long-term relationship rarely works out well especially if you still crave her back and tend to be needy or co-dependent.

Its most often better to make a clean cut, to let an ex be an ex and to go your separate ways especially if there’s a lot of resentment between you two that killed the attraction and the relationship or when your communication sucks.

When you have kids together: you don’t need to be friends if you don’t want to. Just make sure to love your kids and to be the father they need.

•Focusing on getting back with an ex who ignores you and is emotionally unavailable is a bad idea.

Because it is very similar to chasing a girl who rejected you after 2 dates. The only difference here is that you are more emotionally invested in your ex and that it’s harder to let go because your relationship with her was very deep and meaningful and because you have built something together.

All you have lost is the physical aspect of the relationship. The rest such as the growth, the reference experiences, and the wisdom remains.

•You broke up for a reason.

That reason is many times that she lost respect and attraction, that there were many small problems on both sides that led to the breakup, and that the relationship became stale and boring. Those problems are often incompatibility and you can’t fix that without compromising yourself and sacrificing your own dreams and goals.

Chasing your ex hard immediately after the breakup will push her away even more because it shows her you cannot live without her and that makes her not only feel pressured, but also derails your own mental health.

So unless you both are willing to work on this, to solve the problems on your part, to become a better version of yourself for yourself and your family, and unless she is solving the problems on her part, a reconciliation would only make you run in circles and drain you. But even when you both solve these things, it’s unlikely to work out the way you hope it will because you will view each other differently and things will never be the same as they were before.

Besides, re-attracting an ex is all about giving each other space, about becoming an improved version of yourself. About putting yourself first and letting her see that you are fine with and without her.

•Manage your expectations.

You are not in a relationship anymore. Therefore, don’t get upset if she stops treating you like her boyfriend.

As hard as it is, we need to respect it when people decide to want out. We can’t control how they feel anyway and it wouldn’t be fair to her to expect her to sacrifice her own goals and dreams just because you want her back.

•Shift inward.

Take time to process everything and most importantly, start off by accepting the loss as real and by making the decision to move forward.

Do the letting go work, introspect, meditate a lot, take massive action to improve the things you want to improve, and prioritize becoming a healthier, wiser, more masculine, more attractive, and overall better man over getting back with her.

Create an internal and external life that is generally better than the one of your ex and those of the girls you attract and meet.

•Learn to be alone.

Wanna know what’s even more powerful than fucking hundreds of girls after your ex left or than creating a quality social circle?

Generally liking yourself and who you are becoming.

To create meaning and purpose and following your own path unapologetically.

Because when you have this inner peace, everything else falls in line much more effortlessly.

Create a purpose beyond relationships and meeting women so that your well-being doesn’t depend solely on how many girls you fuck or on how much money you have.

•Get your life in order.

Create goals that revolve around getting the following 8 areas in line:

HEALTH/FITNESS (Eating, habits, exercise, lifestyle choices).

FINANCES (income, budgeting and management skills, sales skills, debt and mindset).

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT (productivity, continuous growth, emotional, physical and spiritual development, meaning).

CAREER (building and creating wealth, work/life balance, skill set, ambitions, advancement).

RELATIONSHIPS (family, romantic, work, friendships).

SELF-CARE (connecting deeper with yourself, introspective growth, learning about yourself, processing and letting go of old baggage).

HOME LIFE (atmosphere, physical space, organization).

FUN (free-time, hobbies, relaxation, traveling, vacations, volunteering, etc.).

•Let go of the emotional attachment.

And learn to love without ego, anxiety or attachment. Clinging a lot and chasing hard is not cute. Its toxic and dysfunctional.

The most mature and highest form of love is mutual respect, acceptance (not tolerance), and freedom. We cannot love who we don’t respect so learn to respect yourself and know when it’s time to öet an ex be an ex.
