I liked it more as theory of attraction book rather than a step by step instruction manual. The steps in order aren't super relevant in most situations except very specific circumstances. That being said if you look at the ingredients which make up the steps, they are very powerful. Creates a great understanding of concepts like DHVs, Negs (but use more sparingly than instructed), push-pulls, venues...things like that.

Definitely recommend the read, but don't take it literally.

here:

Open: always go INDIRECT. Never give your power away by going direct.

Use an opinion opener. Something like 'who lies more, men or women?'. Can make up your own if you want too.

Use a false time constraint - explain that you only have 2 mins and you have to go and meet your friends and then GROUND the opinion opener (e.g why are you asking her that question)

Now you need to 'display value' and ATTRACT her (the method is ACD - Attraction, comfort, seduction)

How?

attraction

DHV stories. Tell her stories about how you are a leader of men. Stories about how lots of very pretty girls want you. But it shouldn't come across as too braggy and obvious. Mystery has scripts memorized for each story. Great memory. "So check this out! I was in LA last week as my ex girlfriend has a modelling gig blablabla"

Display value. Magic was what mystery would do of course (or you can do some other sort of skill that you have that might impress her if you are able to demonstrate it). If you know magic bring a deck of cards out with you etc

negs - these aren't insults. More playful teases ("you blink a lot", "your elbows are pointy") or backhanded compliments

that's the attraction material. She should be very attracted to you at this point.

If at any time she rejects compliance and is showing a lack of attraction, you show DISinterets in her too. Give ger another neg. Then then tell another DHV story for example (more attraction). Use this 'cycle' (neg then dhv as much as necessary)

If you've done them things, she is now attracted to you and open to sex with you IF you can now give her some 'comfort'. The next stage in A, C, S

Comfort:

Isolate her (move to a quieter spot) and build emotional connection. Just chat like a normal person, really. This is just to let her know you're safe and normal. Tell personal stories, find commonalities, and listen to her.

You can run a routine like 'strawberry fields' at this stage.

Done

Seduction (the close)

All the work is done. This is when you use touch more and sexually escalate. You can use the 'kiss test' here.

Slowly and gently bring your face closer to hers while maintaining eye contact and speaking softly. Aim for the cheek area near her mouth. Observe her reaction. If she doesn't move away keeps eye contact, adn even helps closet he distance, the kiss her properly.

Man I love it, if you have the chance search for mystery lectures on YouTube give yourself the chance, I genuinely believe Mystery teaches charisma and how to read venues. It is really interesting

Mystery method follows a very structure-based paradigm, completely sidelining the energetic aspects of attraction, which are really what drive for 80% of your results with women.

(speaking from over a decade of experience)

It focuses on "what to say" to get XYZ reaction from women rather than helping you dial in the foundation of what makes you fundamentally attractive as a guy.

If you aren't grounded, centered, secure, and socially intelligent as a man, none of those mystery method techniques and tactics are going to "land" so to speak, or worse, will only make her see you as weird...maybe even super try-hard and cringe.

But if you have ^these energetic foundations in place, you'll create massive amounts of attraction without even trying to hard on a verbal level, simply because your energy does most of the heavy lifting for you.

One thing a lot of people overlook is that the book is talking about HB 9–10 women who aren’t impressed by compliments, or by the usual advice you see everywhere like ‘just be confident and bold.’

It’s like playing football in a lower league, but the moment you move up to a higher league, everything changes. You’re still playing football, but suddenly you’re outmatched.

So… yes, I use Mystery Method, but not literally. In fact, I don’t use many of the concepts written there and also I use my own stories, my own DHVs, my own jokes, basically my own gambits.

For daygame, things move fast, but overall the Mystery Method still applies there as well, just with different gambits, shorter stories, and shorter jokes. That’s the only real difference I’ve noticed.
