Need a manly hobby. Suggestions?

Dancing. You get to meet a ton of chicks and ladies love a man with moves. Plus kino is easy and you can ramp it up from there.

Any hobby at all. I can draw, play instruments, make hard cider, dance pathetically, bike, lift, swim, know some martial arts, cold reading, hypnosis, a ton of psychology, tell jokes, play video games, design t-shirts, bar tend, wait tables, cook, fashion, program an extremely small bit, basic level of the hard sciences, philosophy, body language, business, blah blah blah.

Basic point: be diverse, do what you like. I wrote an article on how to be interesting.. gotta find it... Anyway, just go after what you like and find a way to make it relatable to others. Avoid topics that are exceptionally dry, like maths or programming. Yes, they are fascinating to those who truly understand them, but to the rest of us, it's just a bunch of symbols. Try something that can be visually appealing in the mind.

I don't know about it being "manly" but it never hurts to find something that:

Interests you to no end
Allows you to peacock occasionally

For me, I picked fire staff spinning. I have always been a fan of martial arts and fire (Fire!), so I thought why not combine the two. It's fun as hell, you can practice with a wooden broomstick, and when you get good you will be the fucking star of a party if you can set it all up to do a performance.

Other hobbies that pay off are dancing (mentioned earlier), sketching (a realistic quick sketch of a woman will melt her heart in no time), rock climbing, sports of any kind, working out, jogging.

Check out what clubs your university has. There are a huge number of activities that are considered "manly" that you could do. Find one you are interested in, and can be passionate about. It doesn't matter if you haven't done it before, girls will like that you are pursuing something that you like, and you'll make new friends on the way. Check to see if your campus has an archery club, or fencing, or paintball, or maybe even chainsaw carving.

You should think about hobbies that are less macho, too: I knew a guy who started up a knitting circle in college, and a ton of guys and girls joined in. If you take the time to be good at something that you like to do, it will become its own reward, and that help you build confidence in yourself. Girls (and guys) like people who are confident, so long as they have the competence to back it up (and aren't arrogant about it).

Pick up a musical instrument, have a bookshelf and read, collect art, get rid of things you don't really need, listen to awesome music.

Historical reenacting (ie Civil War, WWII, etc). Doesn't get much more manly than sleeping in the dirt, firing weapons at one another (even using blank loads), camping, and tramping around with 20 or so of your closest male friends. Creates a huge sense of camaraderie.
