Be nice just don't be a doormat. Being nice isn't going to hold you back but putting girls on a pedestal will. In my experience girls are waiting for you to make the first move. So don't friend zone yourself with the oh i guess i'm just a nice guy so it didn't happen excuse. Being nice is a good quality that girls do want in a guy but not the only one. Girls will go for a confident guy over a nice guy most of the time. Be both and you can date whoever you want.

There's nothing wrong with being a nice guy. The problem with being a nice guy only occurs when that's all you are: a nice, guy. You need to strike a balance with being a nice guy, respecting yourself before others and being sexual.

I think of myself as a nice, funny guy. My two favorite things in the world are helping people and making them laugh. But, for a long long time, that's all I was. I realized that being this person wasn't giving me the results that I wanted, I couldn't flirt with girls as this guy. I needed to become sexually polarizing and put me as my first priority. I started working out, dressing better, going out more, and conversing more. I've lost 70 lbs, look great whenever I go out and am getting pretty good at holding an interesting conversation.

Put yourself first. You are your first priority. Figure out the things that you like to do and go out and do them. Doing that will boost your confidence. But you have to be persistent. Being sexually polarizing is a completely different challenge and one that I still haven't quite become comfortable doing that yet.

It's not toning it down - it's turning it up. Turn up your inner caveman. Don't repress your natural urges, show them to the girls early on. They won't hate you for it, in fact they may respect you more than just acting 'nice & polite' all the time. Try leaning in and growling something in a deeper type voice into a girl's ear that you are interested in -- you don't have to be literal about your intentions, women are good at reading between the lines.

Honestly, it's not about being too nice. It's about not showing your true intentions. Don't be afraid to be sexual towards girls. I'm nice. I like helping others, I'm loyal, and I'll have my friends' backs. I also don't shy away from showing girls that I want to hook up with them. I make my moves. Once I started doing that, I found out that most girls were much more interested in me than I originally assumed. Most of the time they were actually frustrated that they were showing interest and I wasn't doing anything with it. A lot of the girls who I was friends with wanted to date me. If you truly are a nice/good guy, you need to realize it. You have to realize what you bring to the table. You have to have enough self-respect to not put up with someone who takes advantage of that. Will you lose some friends? Sure, but they weren't worth your time anyways.

Be nice and dynamic. Keep her engaged but make her have to keep track of where you are; stay interesting and don't give her the time to reflect on what she thinks of you for a while.

The best outcome is afterwards is her being really into the conversation and wanting more, which will tip the scales in your favor.

Dont change your behavior around them because they are an attractive girl. talk to them like you would talk to a male acquaintance, but with the subcommunication of seduction

Be confident, don't let people walk all over you, learn how to "run attraction" (DHV). You can still be a good person without being needy or putting women on a pedestal.
