I’m assuming you’re in your earlier 20’s. I can definitely relate to that overwhelming feeling. It’s all consuming. I think it’s pretty normal to be honest. You’re in your prime to mate. Having a girlfriend helps deal with that area. At the time for me I did a lot of searching, but ultimately found a gf through work that lasted 3 years, then another that followed that for another 3, but through school. You can still focus on your own goals while pursuing women. Just don’t let that be the only thing you’re focusing on. I know that’s hard

I understand how overwhelmed you feel but your frustration is working against you.

Problem is, it forms a cycle:

you can't get a girlfriend - > you become frustrated because you can't get a girlfriend -> your frustration makes it harder for you to connect with women -> you can't get a girlfriend....

You have to work on yourself bro, women can smell desperation from a mile away, I'm really not joking man, you're never gonna get a girlfriend if you carry on like this. That being said, to be honest, I'm not sure you're ready for a girlfriend. Hear me out, I know you feel like getting one will fix your problems, but I promise it won't, that's simply not how depression works. You need to sort out your problems from the inside because going into a relationship while depressed isn't fun. trust me, I've done it before. Have you considered therapy? I know you said you have a good job so maybe pay for a couple sessions and see how that works for you. You should also try exercising more if you don't already. I know it's hard but you have to force yourself.

Actually the cause of your failure is making women your goal and adventure in life. Actually women don't want that. They desperately want to attach themselves to a man who leads a complete and compelling life. You are not the at guy. You guys don't understand that women are a nice bonus to a life lived with purpose and direction. They are icing on the cake. But if you hate the rest of your life why would they want to be with you?

It's pretty normal when you are still rapidly growing and changing with your emotions and mental. Just realise that you are greatly overestimating relation with a woman, because your hormones are storming for now. Get the best relation with yourself, that is some far more valuable goal.
