(27M)I'm struggling with running out of things to say. All the advice I hear is just like:

"Just lower the bar for what's good enough to say. It's not that you have nothing to say it's just that you think the thing you're thinking of isn't good enough to say."

What makes me think this isn't my problem is that I know girls are going off energy not the actual words. When I do have something to say I can say it confidently and charismatically and get a good response. But, when I don't know what to say, it's not that I'm judging what I wanna say and not saying it, my mind is literally blank.

This even happens with close friends and family members that I'm completely comfortable with. Where I'll want to connect with them, maybe everybody is on their phones and I want everyone to get more social but I can't think of anything to say to start a convo.

I'm also extremely good with people, even beautiful women, who carry conversations by talking a lot.

And I'm also very good in groups where the burden of coming up with the next thing to say is distributed amongst 3 or more people. I usually lead in these groups and am the most charismatic one/center of attention.

It's literally just when I'm one on one with a woman or even a man for that matter my mind is just blank. I WISH there was something stupid that came to mind, I would gladly say it and risk a bad response as to just standing there stupidly. I'm not even afraid of talking to girls I'm just afraid of standing there with nothing to say.

I truly believe is have zero problem with dating if I could just fix this one problem.
