It could be because at 19 you cant go to bars, 21+ clubs, legally drink (in the US) - and if they are older than you, they can. So they kinda look at you as a kid, in a way

Focus on your education. You'll have plenty of chances to screw up your life later. If you absolutely need to get laid, save up money you'd have wasted on buying dinner over and over for someone and use that to get a high class escort that looks like a goddess of sensuality with an attitude to match and then get back to your studies. I get it, relationships are great. Know what else is great? A fulfilling career and a house, and having those will get you into a relationship faster than anything else, so don't put the cart before the horse and get distracted. Focus on becoming the person you want to become because at 19 relationships are horrible, terrible things that suck up time and other resources that could be better spent elsewhere.
