She's a 30 minute drive from my place so it's a bit of a hassle and she knows that. She promised that for the next date she'll come into the city. 30 minutes before she's supposed to come over she calls to say that she's running late and that she wants me to pick her up from the bus station because she's tired and that way she can nap on the way back home. She's got a car. Bus station is a 7-minute drive for me.

Is this a shit test? At the time, I didn't think about it. What I thought about was how, when I went to her place I didn't make her zip across town to pick me up. Why is she hassling me? I felt that if I complied, I would later feel like a tool.

In the end, I said, "Uh... You know, it's getting pretty late already. Let's do it another time." She started to back pedal and said reluctantly that she could drive. But I was already upset. No date that night. The next day she asked and I explained my reasoning. She doesn't think that her request was out of line. She still wants to go out, by the way.

If I hadn't already hit it or I was really into her, I might have said yes. But given that she's crazy and I might have had to break up with her that night, having her at my place depending on me for a ride was probably a worst case scenario.
