You asked her too many questions. "How do you want to celebrate?" "Want to come over?"

And were trying to impress/bribe her to go to your place "I'll make dinner." "Maybe after a massage."

That being said, assertiveness in meal choice was good - just kind of the wrong place to be assertive. Massage thing would have never worked if you weren't already in. She was down to chill after her first winky face.

I respectfully disagree. I read it more as she asked you to qualify the meal ("Depends, what are you making?") and you did. A better answer would have been "Come over and find out" imo.
