You have to keep in mind that you just assumed it was an anti-DHV which could in turn influence the way you react or just influence your state when it comes up. After that happens the set goes downhill and you assume it was because telling them you are alone is an anti-DHV while in reality you letting it effect your state or response is what made you lower value (or made you assume you were lower value).

Ideally I'd say just own it and don't make a big deal out of it. You could also go a little further and straight up tell them you went out to hit on hot girls, maybe joke about how your friends are always cockblocking you or something.

You could also tell some bizarre story about how you lost your friends when they hooked up with a bunch of milfs and that you had to run for your life from a 40 y/o cougar and ended up here.

Anyway I would either tell the truth like it's the most normal thing in the world for you or have some fun with it.

I go out alone almost every week. Thursday fri and sat. Altho I end up meeting folks I know randomly this was only achieved through building my popularities and local venues. Now if women ask me who I'm with I can either confidently say " I'm here alone I have more fun" or say yeah I know all the bouncers door guys bartenders and have several friends mingling around somewhere. But fuck I got turned down a hundred times before I made one female friend Downtown.

This is a reason why people use a False Time Constraint. "I can only stay a minute, my friends should be here any time now." This makes the set feel more comfortable since you're not going to stick around and possibly annoy them. And then you stick around anyway.

Damn those flaky friends, they never did show up. I can have fun without them, they missed out meeting my new friends.

I only got asked this twice. The first time I said that I didn't need to come with anyone to have fun. The second time I said I didn't have any friends and came out alone to pick up girls.

When I got asked the first time I was taken bak for a second. Then I just honestly explained that I didn't enjoy going out with my current group of "friends" and I was cool doing my own thing. I.e approaching two women and initiating conversation. The relation ship lasted for a couple weeks actually but they were into black men and I'm just a dark completed white guy. So I ended it . A bit irrelevant, but yeah. I'm honestly so comfortable in one nightclub when I walk in a feel like I own the place.

This is something I will be dealing with soon. I am about to work in a place where I have no friends, so I will be probably going out solo.

I was planning on using a false time constraint like meeting friends etc. But I am also interested in the concept of simply owning the fact that you are out by yourself. I will definitely try it!

I go out solo exclusively due to the fact that I live in a smaller town and haven't made any friends that are willing to keep up with me party-wise. Something like "my friends are too busy playing pictionary" or just keep it C/F. I've never tried the False Time Constraint but will be doing it soon now.

I used to lie and say I was waiting for my friends. Now I usually tell the truth: I wanted to drink tonight, none of my friends were free/wanted, and drinking alone at home is pathetic, so I decided to hit the bars and make some new ones. It's not a DLV if you don't care what they say. Usually, they are surprised by the honesty and want to keep talking. Sometimes I'll go to a place with live music or some other distraction, and use that as the reason why I'm out.

I'm gonna try something next week, I'm just gonna go out solo (for the first time by the way) and just ask a girl what she thinks about me because I'm out alone. Note that I'm not asking what she thinks about going out alone in general, but what she thinks about me given that information. Going out alone is generally considered to be weird, and that's probably the response you'll get if that's the question you ask, but if you ask how she thinks of this confident, attractive guy who's just informed her that he's out alone, her reaction is likely to be different.

Maybe also I'll also mention that I'm not drinking and how she responds to that, just see how it goes. It might fail epically but it'll definitely be interesting finding out!
