Well, you have to be confident even in texting. You have to come up with a great opening line but don’t overthink it.

I was an overthinker before and it helped when I got used to messaging with a lot of girls. I am on hookup apps (Tinder, Adult Friend Finder, etc.). There I learned which pickup line works and which one doesn’t. It’s like experimenting lol

I recommend not going with this method. If you are already talking up the girl and things are going well why leave? Think of it this way, numbers are worthless. They are likely to ghost you anyway and nothing beats in person communication.

Once you get the number, if things are going well keep talking and keep the vibe going if you're having a good time.

If they gave you their number you shouldn’t be trying to have a convo. Meeting them at a bar you know they drink and you knew they were interested enough to give their number.

Small talk isn’t necessary at that point

You need to set the date on the first interaction.

Figure out her logistics on when she can meet.

Then set the exact date and activity, and exact time if you can.

This is crucial to day game success that almost all YouTubers get wrong - it's like the blind leading the blind.

Try to define the reason for getting her contact information so it’s not just a token number.

Bar game is high energy, emotional communication, body language dependant and there is often alcohol involved. She’s probably given her number to at least a few other guys if she’s hot and it’s a busy night. So you have to do something to anchor yourself into her logical mind otherwise she ain’t picking up the phone or returning your texts the next day.

So with that in mind: 1. If you’re trying to pull that night, text or call her later THE SAME NIGHT just before closing time. Just say “Hey where you at? Leaving soon, come see me!” 2. If you’re trying to setup a date for the 2nd day, setup a STRONG PLAN BEFORE GETTING HER NUMBER. Really take her off to the side, look her in the eye and say something like “hey I’m having a lot of fun, I really have to get back to my friends but let’s continue this tomorrow. What does your day look like, are you free at 2…” Find a time that works with you both, get patio drinks, go for a walk in the park, whatever. Really try to paint a picture about how fun your plans will be. Then get her number and text her right away so she has your number. Text her later that night around 2:30/3:00 when the bars are closing and say “it was nice meeting you tonight, looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!” CALL her the next day an hour or 2 before your set date time and just vibe on the phone like you were vibing last night. This is very important because you want to pick up where you left off and get her back into a fun emotional mood. This phone call will probably cut your flake rate in half. A text the next morning isn’t enough when she’s a little hungover and at that point the night is just a blur. At the end of the phone call just confirm your original plans and go from there!

You probably didn't make a big enough impression in those 5 min. The girl probably hooked up with some other guy that night.

Don't use getting the number as a crutch, the number is not the be all and end all, try convert the cold approach into something more on the night.

Probably because they barely remember you after a day. Or they were never really interested in the first place. Either way, you didn't make a good enough impression in person.

I disagree with waiting longer. Best chance, is message the next day and push for a date quickly before they forget everything about your interaction.

If you get their number, remember to keep the conversation going 5-10 minutes after. This keeps them from thinking you’re a number slut
