I started lurking here about 4 months ago, and started posting FRs and questions, theories, etc. soon after I started getting out into the field and trying this. And it worked. It was amazing. My friends remark about how easy I make it look to talk to women, how easy it was for me to open sets and such. I will admit that at times I was timid - I never looked to pulled one night stands as I didn't feel that was my style - but I made some great new friends both guy and girl from the techniques that you guys espouse.

And then, I met her. Basic story - start of a new semester, cute girl comes into the class. I will admit, she threw off my game a little bit. It took me a few days to properly open up conversation with her, but as soon as I did everything I've ever read from this site kicked into gear. Conversation: smooth, multi-thread, comforting. Kino almost immediately. Used text game to set up dates, but also to chat and build attraction and comfort. Out on a date, took things in a sexual discussion - acted smooth but not overconfident. After first date, go for the kiss. (Couldn't be prouder of myself). Second date the night after, go for another, and get invited back in to her place for a bit. We talked and hung out, fooled around. Didn't have sex, because she wanted to take things slow and felt like we could be something more than just another hook up. I respected this, as I knew it was exactly what I wanted too. We stayed up all night talking and foreplay-ing. Went home, acted cool about things, and took it from there.

And now, it seems, I'm in something of a committed and happy relationship. I will admit that I'm still in the starry-eyed phase, but everything about this girl tells me that this is a great, great thing I've got going.

So thanks, Seddit. I may not be going out, gaming on women, looking for hookups that are casual, opening sets of HBs, and so on, at least for now. But of course, this isn't about that. This sub is about bettering how you feel about yourself and I can quite positively say that you've done that for me. Thank you.
