I’m late 30s, but with a baby face that can pass at late 20’s.

If your face can pass 10 years younger, people don’t usually ask this question.

If I were you I’d just playfully say I’m 40s, mark it up 10 years older. So by the time the convo goes on, they wouldn’t be disappointed that you’re not 40, but actually 30.

This is a common issue for older guys who’d like to hit on girls who are 10-15 years younger. Which I can’t really relate. I mean if this issue keeps coming up, maybe time to move up the age demographics?

I feel like they know how old you are already and by hiding it you're showing insecurity which is a turn off. its pretty easy to tell someone's late thirties vs 20's. if anything say you're like 55 and laugh or lol say old enough to be your daddy... if you really wanted to push it lmao. then when they find out you're only late 30's it sounds better and you dont come off as insecure/hiding it.

if you don't believe me then next time ask them to guess your age. theyl likely ballpark get it right each time.

Try latinas (passportmaxxing), they have no problem with multi-decade age gaps, especially in rural areas

They are a lot hotter than western women too

First, frame steal.

Her: “wait how old are you?”

You: “thirty x (just say your real age). Wait, how old are you??”

Her: “oh my god. I’m 19…”

Then get her to qualify

You: “oh wow yeah you’re quite young. Wait, are you even allowed to be here? You’re not going to start puking after two drinks, are you?”

Her: “oh my god no I’m not like that I can handle myself.”

You: “oh ok good that’s okay then. Had me worried I’d be stuck on babysitting duty for a sec there”

Girls ask your age when they’re into you. It’s important to reframe it as you might think she’s too young for you. Then she has to qualify to be with you, the valuable older man. If you start making excuses, it turns into why the creepy old guy qualifies to get with the young hottie. You don’t want that.

You can also go on the offensive and beat her to it. Ask her age and express some doubt. She will try to assuage your concerns, she won’t be able to help it. All girls want to qualify.

Either overexaggerate it or lean into it. Tell her you're 60. Tell her you're old enough to be her daddy. You never know, some women (especially the younger ones) might actually like the dynamic of someone much older than them. It'll also help if you're playing into the rich daddy / provider role where you're getting drinks for her and her friend, maybe you've got some gray hair that looks good, maybe you drive a nice car, etc.

Essentially what you don't want is to try to pass of as young and to play into that dynamic only for them to realize you're not.

As someone who is 37 and had to deal with this I find 2 things. One is you just lie and remember the bday of the year you’re lying about. And what age you can pass off. I used to say 28 for a bit but I can’t do that now.

Second is if you say it with confidence I noticed girls don’t actually care. If you say it and look for approval on there response they care.

“37. Yeah lol nearly dead. You come here with any friends” etc. “37 works great if you have daddy issues ;)” etc. but need confidence

34 here. I pass for early twenties, three times I’ve been told I look 19( one by a new coworker, a friend and some random girl at a club who thought I had a fake ID).

When girls ask my age, though it’s rare, I always say: “Take a guess!”

“Uhhh 21?”

“Damn you’re good at this! Now let me guess yours?”

End of story.
