My guess is that if you're on r/seduction and not r/dating_advice it's because you're actually trying to understand how it works and get better at meeting women.

Though there is a lot of overthinking and overcomplicating going around.

Always question the assumption that the solution to your current challenge is complicated. Ask yourself if the problem is really the result of a shortcoming in one or more basic skills. Rarely is some fancy technique going to be the answer.

I’ve worked with people who’d often tell me “but my situation is special”, most of the time, it’s not. Most of the time the basics are going to get you the most results.

So before we start thinking about pushing and pulling, before we start thinking about negging, before we even start thinking about seeding the pull, creating jealousy plots, building higher value in the venue, merging sets, AMOG bashing and all that fancy PUA lingo, get your basics right.

Here is a list of the things I consider the basics of Game. You might be an advanced player and lack some of those basics. Every time you master one of the points below your game will jump to the next level.

I can't emphasize it enough, if you're not doing at least those right, you're not even playing the Game. Get your basics right.

Basics of online game and texts :

Point :

  • Understand that the point of texts isn't to get to know each other.
  • Be able to lead towards your goal (a date).

Dating apps :

  • Understand that girls go out with what they can guess from your profile and the archetype of a guy it makes them think of.
  • Understand and be okay with the fact that girls have it easier and that the competition is harsh.
  • Understand what makes a girl comfortable and attracted in a male profile.

Texting on apps :

  • This is 2021. If you're not texting you're a boomer and boomers don't get laid.
  • Never double text.
  • Always try again after a few days on a girl who ghosted you.
  • Do not try to make conversation through texts.
  • Use texts to screen girls and make dates happen.

Basics of real life Game :

Anxiety :

  • Be not anxious enough to handle a conversation without stuttering for more than 10 minutes with a full total stranger in a public place.
  • Be able to approach at least 5 women within 1 hour without being prompted to by a coach or a friend.
  • Do not eject yourself from sets until the girl goes away or blows you off.

Body language :

  • Carry yourself proudly : hold yourself straight, shoulders back, chest out, chin up, gaze on horizon level.
  • Be able to hold deep eye contact with women and men without looking away.
  • Speak loud enough.

Intimacy :

  • Do not invade others' private space at first.
  • Know your kino escalation order properly.
  • Know how to make babies in practice.
  • Have proper hygiene.

Conversation :

  • Be able to free-associate.
  • Be able to never run out of things to say.
  • Be able to speak your mind freely in most social settings.
  • Be able to lead the conversation and maintain your own frame.

Female psychology knowledge :

  • Know the seduction steps (go read the Mystery Method and memorize the steps from A1 to S3 you need to be able to repeat them ON CUE).
  • Know what a hot girl's daily life really looks like.
  • Know what girls like in general regarding things of life.
  • Know what scares women and makes them insecure.
  • Know what women want in a man and what qualities create female to male attraction, as well as how to showcase those qualities properly.

Empathy :

  • Be able to put yourself in girls shoes and, with the knowledge of female psychology you have, guess what they are feeling at any given time with acceptable accuracy.
  • Have a good sense of calibration, be able to calibrate differently for a low self esteem and high self esteem girl.
  • Understand what takes value and what gives value to others.

Self :

  • Have any deep psychological trauma dealt with, figured out and overcome.
  • Never take value from others.
  • Do not chase girls who push you away.
  • Be able to screen off uninterested girls, impossible logistics and crazy red flag girls.
  • Know your boundaries and know how to enforce them properly.
  • Never stay in a situation that isn't comfortable.
  • Always make the first move.
  • Always go for the hotter girls.
  • Always be closing.

I'm a very nice guy but if I see you in real life and I see you don't have those basics down, you might pretend you're the biggest player ever, I will know this isn't true.

The basics don't lie. The basics are 80% of the work. Get them right, get laid.
