Mixers.
Major spirits (Gin, Vodka, Rum, Tequila, Whisk(e)y, and something girly like Bailey's).
Trashcans either EMPTY or COVERED. No one wants to see your fap rags or dryer sheets.
Something that has a cool story you can tell (thus incorporating storytelling and building value) - e.g. a weird shaped piece of driftwood ("Oh yeah, I found that when I was skin diving in the Cape...blah blah...")
If you've got the cash, get some lights/fixtures from somewhere besides Wal-mart (e.g. no bare lightbulbs hanging from the ceiling). Anything that shows you put some effort towards breathing some life into the place. Maybe a potted plant, even if it's fake.

Keep your apartment clean, preferably spotless when she's over. Decorate but don't be a faggot about it, no doilys or gay fluffy pillows. Have a nice stereo system. Stock your fridge, have bottled water. Put away anything potentially embarassing like your shit stained underwear or dirty magazines. No dishes in the sink, ever. Lighting is important, make sure your lamps are placed in areas that make sense. Have different kinds of liquor, and fruit juices in the fridge in case she wants to make mixed drinks. Buy proper wine glasses and other glassware. Buy a real blender. Hide your gaming console. Clean your bathroom, women hate having to sit on a filthy toilet. You will be judged on your apartment, trust me.
