Technically, that's a Qualifier. I first heard of this (I think) from Sinn. He really brought Qualification to the old M3 model, but he said sometimes he just goes straight to a Qualifier as an opener, it's an easy way to screen women.

But I don't like the question form you use. It invites a No answer, just to brush you off. The model format I learned was "Hey you look like the adventurous type. Lots of people say they're adventurous, but few of them really are." Notice those are direct statements. It opens and keeps going, issuing the qualifier challenge. If she doesn't bite, you can go on with stories about what people do that really is challenging.

I think you're spending a lot more time worrying about this than you need to. Most of the time I open girls it's just with a simple hi. You don't need to spend time thinking up "perfect openers". Just talk to women.

How do you define "best"? Creates the most attraction in the shortest amount of time? Piques the most interest? I've never used any of these, but instinctually I find them to be "try hard" and poorly socially calibrated. You "think" they are the best, or you know from personal experience they are the best?

I have had tremendous success with qualifying openers, though less silly than these. The "you're beautiful, but so are a lot of girls, are you more than a pretty face?" has worked to get girls instantly qualifying themselves, but I can count on one hand the number of times I've used it, so I can't say if it works consistently.

I do agree the best openers are generally a bit risky, and polarizing.

I never understood "openers". Openers tend to only work in theory. In the field you have 10000000 variables. The fat friend, cockblocker etc. I always say that the best way is to just practice in the field.

Walking around the mall I usually just use Tyler's approach and just point at them and say "you" repeatedly until I go up to them and start talking. Openers don't usually matter.
