Hey, all.

I'm old but having never had any success with girls, decided to see if learning game would help at all.

I read a few books of teh suggested material, and decided to 'get out there' and start approaching.

I've made maybe 300 approaches so far.

They're a mixture of harsh rejections, soft rejections, brief small talk, and the occasional glimmer of success.

However, for the purpose of this thread, I want to talk about the issue in most of the approaches where I just don't really know how to move on from the opener.

What is happening is that after the open (which will usually be some sort of observational opener) I move into asking them about their plans for the night and the friends they are with and perhaps make an ASSUMPTION about what they do for work.

I can't think of anything else to talk about at this early stage (for example, it would be weird to ask them what they would do with a million pounds soon after introducing yourself)

Typically, I get short answers from these questions and , and I feel as though I am boring the girl.

A typical interaction will look like this:

Hey! That's the weirdest colour drink i've ever seen! Is it safe to drink??

HAHA....Yeah. It's a cocktail.

what's it called?

Blue lagoon

Looks tasty. So, where are you off too tonight?

Just to the octo bar, probably

Oh yeah. I go there sometimes. I like the music they play

Yeah, it's good.

Who are you with?

My friends over there points

So, you look like might work in fashion or something - all colour co-ordinated!

Nah. I'm an admininistrator.

Oh. Do you like it?

It's ok....listen I need to get back to my friends. Cya around

I just don't know what i'm supposed to say at the early stage of the conversation after the opener.
Or how to make the vibe fun and not boring.

I hoped that with practice I'd suddenly start getting better, but nothing has changed in these 300 approaches or so. I mean, practice isn't giving me any knowledge. I need to know what sort of things to say!
