(Tl;dr at bottom) So recently I posted about this 8.5/10 ebony girl I picked up at school for my first successful approach. I waited two days before calling her and organised a lunch date with her. Well this morning she cancelled on me, I thought about saying I was disappointed and asking for a reason, but remembered realistically this girl doesn't really owe me shit and I also don't really care too much. So I let it slide. She expressed anyways she's down to catch up another time, despite being blurry about when that time may be rolls eyes

Funny thing is when my class finished today and I'm leaving, guess who I bump into? Her 😂 she was a little embarrassed but I played it cool and chatted with her casually and didn't bring up the cancellation. She asked if I wanted to walk with her to the station so I did and then on the way casually asked about the cancellation and she just said she wanted to go home and chill so I respected that and just tried to give her the impression that i really didn't give a fuck. We talked some more and said goodbye to her at the station as her bus as coming. The cafe were gonna go to was literally like 80m away though. Should I have just been more persistent then and convinced her to come? As she clearly wasn't doing anything? I kinda made loose plans with her to hang again but wasn't too engaged cause tbh couldn't really be fucked after she flaked

So basically I just let it slide. And on my way home I went to my own fav cafe and decided to use this flaky girl experience and turn it into a positive and hit up another girl. So when I walked into the cafe and say this adorable girl working behind the counter I made banter with her while ordering.

Told her I liked her jumper which had a funny slogan on it, then complimented her on her really straight teeth (they were actually gorgeous) and asked for her name and how long she's been working here. I could tell she was blushing cause she kept getting forgetful during my ordering process which was cute.

After I sat and ate I went back to the counter to grab a drink to take home (not that I even really wanted one just wanted her to take my order again) Asked her what time she started and on which days a week she's here. She told me and then went on to say how she fits working here around playing basketball and studying health science. I played basketball for years so talked about that, also found out she played rugby (which I also played) so actually have things in common. I told her "well perhaps I could get your number and sometime after work we can play a game together as there are courts around the corner from my house" which is super close to where she works! She seemed really keen so I got her number and she called me so she could have mine.

So fucking stoked bros. Turned a negative into a positive today and this girl seems way more keen than the last. Don't let cancelling flaky chicks bum you out! Treat it as as a blessing in disguise that they are showing you that THEY are not worth YOUR time and not the other way around. Then go use that energy to pickup a new girl the same day!

tl;dr girl cancelled date on me this morning so instead of bitching it I still went to the cafe by myself and chatted up a cute girl working there and got her number and scored a date with her instead
