A couple months back I was looking for a daygame coach on Craigslist, but unfortunately the one I found didn’t respond. I wasn’t looking to pay for training, I was looking to exchange services. Photography or videography for some free lessons. Recently, at random, I looked once more, and I found a post that was a couple of weeks old. So I said why not and emailed this dude. I actually got a response, and we discussed about meeting; he offered to help me get a couple numbers.

Over the phone this guy seemed pretty chill, and confident. I then went ahead and met him. And what happen then…….. was…… he was gay! Naw, I’m just kidding. The guy had a humble personality, but it was obvious to see that “game” had taken over his life. Right when we meet, I could feel that his vibe was off. He was drinking a energy drink, his posture was slanted, and he was like a predator, just looking for a prey.

We walked around his campus, where there was no-one because of spring break; but still he was hungry. I started to feel a bit awkward because of the way he was acting, no other focus than just finding a girl. We finally came across a receptionist, and he tried gaming her. But what happen then…. was….. he fucked up…. For real though. He was trying to be super confident, and do night game on her, talking about the dumbest shit. It was creepy as fuck. I budged in to fill in the awkward silence because I felt embarrassed by he was acting. I tried to create a neutral topic, because she was working, she wasn’t at a party. We then left her alone, and damaged. At this point I just wanted to fucking leave, but I didn’t have the guts to admit this. We walked around more, looking for nothing but some comfort. Went to the library, where maybe 2 girls were working on the computer. Instead of going up directly, he decided to shout. I tried to bounce him to another location, because this was too much.

We then agreed to go to target and do some game there, but I already knew this was a bad idea. While driving behind him I thought about just ditching him, but that would have been cruel. We met at target, I grab a quick coffee and we walked around. Now I was really feeling the social anxiety so I just came straight out and told him that this was awkward and I wanted to leave. I tried to be as nice as possible. I think he caught on. His attention was finally off of the prey and onto the situation. I told him that it was nice meeting him and left. pshuuuu.

“Game” can be harmful if overdone. You shouldn’t focus on picking up girls everywhere you go. When you’re hanging out with a friend, focus on just hanging out with your friend, and if you see a cute girl walking by, go ahead and open her. But don’t overdo it. If all you focus on is just picking up girls, you will come across as needy and creepy. And this will shape your interactions with others.

The receptionist that this guy was gaming already knew that he was a creep because he was gaming her while she was working, he wasn’t aware of the situation, he just wanted the outcome, which was the number. If he were to open with something indirect like “hey, do you know where I can grab some coffee”, he probably could have gotten a better chance at the number, because that would have been relative to the situation. I’m not saying indirect is good, but just be aware of the situation that the girl is in. Would this make her uncomfortable?

To summarize: 1. You can be normal, you don’t have to game everything you see. 2. Be aware of the situation. Make sure you don’t make others uncomfortable. 3. Focus on other things rather than picking up chicks. Chicks are just the icing on the cake.

Alright, thanks for reading yall kids, hopefully this was helpful!
