Good sense humor is definitely connected to intelligence, and brilliant sense of humor is like 100% a trait of highly intelligent people.

Don't talk about philosophy if you're trying to date someone, be fun in a really smart way.

What you refer as “Intelligence” (QI) is only a part of the sum, and while you need basic QI to be able to “manage”, it is not the most wanted type of intelligence in most of life’s aspect. Emotional intelligence (EI) and Social intelligence (SI) will serve you more and have a better value in every day’s life. Some social circles does value more QI than others, notably the philosophy clubs, astronomy clubs, sciences clubs but there are rarely many gals in those spots!

I think a big part of the notion of QI is associated with asocial type, higher on the autism spectrum and shows a lack of Social and Emotional intelligence, that is why it is not ranked as highly as a requirement for many.

I find it highly attractive in women, I'm 17 and a girl without intelligence or ambition to a certain aspect of life (+ Good grades) takes away 50% of attraction for me. It's kind of essential, every girl I have talked to in the past have all educational ambition including straight As and above, perfect GPAs and all around smart. Without that there's not really much for me to look at but a nice body and cute chats

When a girl is intelligent and she's beautiful, that's like having, well for me and many others a perfect women.

this is the boat i'm in right now, i cant see myself dating a girl that can't process complex thoughts or ideals. i often find myself turning down girls who are easily a 8/10+ bc their lack of intelectual depth turns me away. idk if it's shallow or pretentious but intelligence is usually my most sought after quality in a SO. i really wish i would've went to a uc bc the lack of intelligent girls at my local college really bothers me

One problem is sure the age, but trust me, the main problem is that that intelligence is a rare trait in general. It won't change when you get older, and this doesn't exclude men. I don't know many people who can measure up to my intellect.

As a general rule of thumb when it comes to girls/women you should just not expect philosophical geniuses. The normal person doesn't give a flying fuck about that, they only try to survive, procreate and lead a not awful life. So, be fun and keep that philosophical talk for selected people who can keep up with you.

It depends on what TYPE of intelligence, girls have no interest in quantum physics or computer science (Sheldon Cooper or Doc Brown).

They do however love Machiavellian intelligence (James Bond, Oceans 11, Bart Simpson). Or dominance intelligence (Tywin Lannister, M, or Caesar)

I find most smart guys have good understanding of computers and engineering, but lack true out of the box thinking that men like Caesar would have.

With that being said, IQ above 120 is considered bad when it comes to meeting girls. For my case, girls love the things I can do with my brain, but it does cause them to be a bit uneasy sometimes. (IQ 110-120 is considered optimal for attraction).

I hear you !!! bro it changes with the age but unfortunately not for all girls I mean there will always be some lame girls who wont be interested in understanding life philosophy psychology and so on.... But unfortunately you have to accept the reality I mean we men (including myself) idealise a girl because of her looks we say "she must be inteligent carring cool and she must like cool stuff...etc" BUT THAT IS AN ILLUSION... A girl with the sweetest look with the most amazing looks CAN BE LAME AS FUCK.... And to be honest If they are not interested in cool stuff...You know what fuck those girls go game other girls who are interested in cool stuff

It never is. It's a lie that anyone wants an intelligent SO. Intelligence was never an atttractive quality for both genders.
