it's fine. if they are like why do you not have a facebook, say some variation of the following:

"too many girls stalked me on fb. had to delete mine" "i am comfortable handling my friends the normal way. by calling them. you should try it. give me your number, i'll call you, and voila, fb is not needed ;-p"

My answer to that is if it is a red flag for her than find a different girl. Any woman that can't accept you as you are now probably isn't good for you anyway.

While I'm at it, I would suggest getting away from the whole "do chicks dig/not dig xxxx". Instead, just focus on accepting yourself as much as possible, at least the things about you that you can't change. The things you can change that you can't accept you should do something about, but not because you think it will get you pussy, but because that's the way you want to be.

When you do this you'll find that you'll attract the right women naturally.

I hate facebook. I NEVER friend girls on facebook if I'm interested in them. It just causes problems in too many ways. You start to look at their profile and which guys are talking to them, you have to keep yours up and make yours look good. You post comments and try to get people to 'like' them. Really, it's just a big circle jerk.

Stay away from facebook. You don't need it. All of my coolest friends have facebook pages but they never update them. Why? Because we're too busy doing shit in real life to deal with that crap.

I have one just so people can find me on it if they wish to but never really use it otherwise. I don't ever friend anyone myself or even surf the site. I used to want to cancel it, but its beneficial and most girls have one. I've had girls come up to me in the bars before and open me because they need to tag me on facebook. My advice would be to have one so your "findable", but just ignore it then.

Despite what these guys have said so far, YES, I think the average girl will at least think it's a little weird that you don't have one. At this point, it's almost like not wearing clothes when everyone else does. Even if you don't have one for a legit reason that's easily explainable. Instead of just cancelling your account, how 'bout you keep your account, but don't get crazily obsessed with it? It won't hurt. Even I, as a guy, find it a little off-putting sometimes when I see that a girl I just met doesn't have a facebook. And trust me, I'm usually the type of guy who doesn't give a shit. Any response you have to a girl about why you don't have an account will be inadequate - the only possible good response I can think of is "I don't need one. I have tons of friends that I talk to all the time; I stay updated on everything that's happening and I don't need some gay website to do that." But even after saying that, a girl could be like, "Well it's incredibly easy to set one up and it only takes a few minutes at most. Why can't you do it just for the hell of it? Are you trying to be a rebel?" This is the response I've heard guys get all the time.

Even I have a facebook page as reclusive as I am. My buddy's wife pressured me into getting one a while ago, so I set up a page with fake/funny personal info. There's no profile pic of me, no apps, half-dozen "friends"... just the bare minimum. I've friended a few girls thus far and it wasn't a problem. I feel it's a decent compromise, but why compromise?
