Go for it. It's risky so it shows confidence. If they bring it up when you meet them, something like "Texting her? We've been having daily hour-long calls!". Obviously they know that's not true, but it shows confidence. You're not trying to hide it, instead you're making it even bigger, showing it off even. And besides, they'll even laugh over it

So what if they talk about you? What are you scared of? Are you ashamed of your desire? If not, then why worry about being talked about? You gotta own the fact that you're interested in her. It's not like you said anything rude or creepy, you simply expressed interest. It's not a crime to be interested in a woman (unless you're ashamed of the fact that you are a human who experiences attraction). And if she's not interested then you keep it moving! Let them talk all they want hahaha.

Not the best analogy but think of it like this: if you went to take a shit, a respectful, decent shit, and someone happened to listen in on you taking a crap and started teasing you for it, or gossiping about the fact that you took a shit, wouldn't you think they were weird af? Everyone shits, don't they? So what's so embarrassing about taking a shit? As long as you shit in private and didn't do anything "rude" like not flush, then you have nothing to be ashamed of.

Same concept applies here. Go for it man. If she's not interested then move on till you find someone that is.

I feel your pain. Why don't you just approach in person? Just be like "Hey I'd like to get to know you more why don't we hit x activity on y date? " If she responds positively you've done great if she responds negatively you have an answer and then drop it. This way you'll learn that you have to yolo it.

Think about what that says if you ask her out or whatever and she doesn’t talk about it with her friends. It means she didn’t even consider you as a sexual partner. Just don’t say or do anything crazy and stay high value especially around her friends. If they like you, you’re like 90% there

Always assume whatever you say or write to another person will be talked about. You know the old saying......"The only way two people can keep a secret is if one of them is dead."

However, that does not mean you should not put it out there, who cares if people talk about you. They will most likely do that anyway at some point.

Worrying about whether or not people talk about you is a complete waste of energy. They either will or they won’t and you have zero control over that. Just conduct yourself in a way that makes you feel good and it won’t matter what they say behind your back because you will be confident in the person that you are. I know this is generic advice but, I think for this situation it’s helpful to mention.
