Yes, but prepare for the fact this never happens unless it's a scam, ie person has a sob story and wants money. We don't have as much fear of physical harm, like a woman would, but, likely would get over it fast.

A woman's seduction game is different than a man's. Women are more choosy about their partners and look for guys who resonate the most with them while not giving off any red flags. It's not as straight-forward as many people here try to make it seem because a lot of guys front a boatload of confidence but become squeamish when they feel the power shift. Some guys will actually freak out when a woman randomly comes on to them because it sets off our 'too good to be true' alarm. To be able to seduce the men she wants, a woman has to appeal to his senses and not appear threatening to his ego so as not to make him lose confidence but be subtle enough not to come across as desperate. Men's game is a lot more about confidence and women's game is a lot more about grace.

This has happened to me many times over my 30+ years (mostly both before I knew a thing about women).

Usually it's only when a women is VERY attracted to you (through social proof usually -- e.g. she sees you having a great time, hanging with cool people, hanging with hot women or has heard through a mutual friend that you are awesome).

Almost zero effort required on the guy's part. Even if he's oblivious to her interest, she will make a huge effort to carry the conversation, escalate, ask for contact info and follow up.

Best ways women have ever opened me:

Out at a bar. Woman approaches me from behind and whispers in my ear "I want to fuck you". I have never met her but she's seen me around for 2 years on campus and wants to fulfill a fantasy. 15 mins later we're at her apartment. I later find out she's a stripper and camgirl.
Out at a club. I used to have LONG hair. Woman comes up, says "I love your hair, can I touch it?". She certainly did touch it.
Out at a social/business event. I have a crowd around me (I'm an "expert" in my industry so lots of people asking question). Woman barges into conversation with puppy eyes, stands way too close, tells me she wants to ask me some questions and is so aggressive in pursuing me that the crowd realises and gives us some space.
Out in a mall. Woman approaches and says "Have we met before?". I'm oblivious and tell her "No, don't think so". She's like "I'm sure we have" and start rattling off all these possible places/ways we could have met. I'm like "Nope, nope, nope...". Eventually i realised she was keen on me (I was pretty dumb when I was younger), got her details and..well, we did meet after all ;)
Out at a concert, standing between the stage and the crowd barrier with a camera (I'm there to photograph bands). Hottie in the front row yells "Who are you?", "How did you get that pass?". Again, I had no idea she was into me and after some chat I told her I was going to get in a better spot and she lunged at my, grabbed me and asked to exchange numbers.
Out at a really classy bar very recently. I understand women a lot better at this stage. I go out ALONE and decide to just have an AMAZING time. I open every set of men and women, make friends with everyone (including bar staff and security), have an awesome time, approach the HB10s like they're my best friends. After 2 hours of this HB8s, HB9s, HB10s start approaching ME. I realise after chatting to a few that they've seen me, confident as FUCK, talking to babes, making friends with everyone, having so much fun, not giving a shit, that they want to know what I'm all about. Some of them said stuff like "I saw you approach/talk to those really beautiful women over there. You must be really confident." and "You seem to know everyone here" and "You look like you're having a great time". The strangest thing is once the first few HBs started to approach me, others saw and it was like a tidal wave of women approaching me. One even said "I saw some really hot girls approach you before".. that was her opener.

I’ve been approached by good looking girls at bars before. One instance was this girl dancing with her friends and she basically just came up to where my buddies and I were sitting, pointed at the spot between me and my buddy, and sat down in between us. She looks at me and starts playfully using kino and after a quick conversation said she was going to another club. Looking back, I should’ve gone with her but they were going to a gay club and I wouldn’t have felt comfortable.

Another time at this same bar, I was walking through the crowd to the bathroom when all of a sudden this girl pulls me and starts making out with me. So if everything else fails, if a girl is at least decent looking, no guy will deny a kiss.

I have been cold approached by girls before. Just two problems I have Aspergers Syndrome meaning I miss social cues and can not read the signs and like the other redditor mentioned I get approached by girls I am not into so that means I have to put in the work to girls I am interested in
