If everybody likes you, then nobody loves you

If this is your reality, then your personality is probably safe and you agree with whoever you’re with at the time.

A polarizing person voices strong controversial opinions, potentially dark realities, and may have a controversial lifestyle

Think of all great comedians. Like George Carlin. He said some “politically incorrect” shit but his fans fucking loved him. And I think he was right about a lot of stuff. That’s why people laughed.

Or how about the recently trendy Andrew Tate. He calls people idiots, stupid, has very strong opinions, and a controversial lifestyle. And he speaks on the potentially dark realities of life. And his fans love him for that. He has a cult following that defend him. But also a lot of people hate him

Being polarizing generates a strong emotional reaction in others.

Also, some people are just too scared to voice their true opinions(especially in todays “woke” climate). So these polorazing people become their inspirations. The people they look up to. Their outlets. Because they make it safe to relate to them

So pick your poison:

Everyone likes you, but nobody loves you

Or

People either hate you or they love you
