Like others say its mostly a validation app, why so may beautiful women and single?
Got send nude pics but that was it, set up three dates too.
Really depends, obv higher flake rate than asking someone one on one, but its a no pressure so its pretty neat.

You could talk on the phone, otherwise if they seem vaguely compatibile from any conversation you have online and are physically attractive, why not just roll with it? Most girls on it (tinder) are a certain type, I can't quite put it down to an exact science, but in my city..

95% quite or very attractive

95% of photos are instagram, or the girl in 15 different outfits posing, or the girl at a different club in every photo.

95% have a young career like 'event planner' or 'marketing', or even 'model' or are teachers (hard to meet guys on the job)

And most see it as a short term casual thing.

So yeah, if you're looking for older or more intellectual girls try okcupid or maybe pof depending on your area..

My experience on tinder is that if they take the time to reply, they're probably 50 lbs heavier than the picture shows.

It's a validation app for chicks.

If you must do online, okcupid seems to do well. POF is a shit hole.

I've recently was dumped by my girlfriend of 8 months and decided to give the old tinder app another shot. And like many of you have already said yes this IS a validation app mostly used to boost confidence and work on communication with new people. BUT I will say that some of the girls on there are down to hang out with a guy after some simple text game. After a few days of chatting with an HB 7 she messaged me saying she wanted to have a glass of wine after work. I offered to meet her in a nonthreatening public place but instead she suggested she just come to my place. I bought her a bottle of wine and f-closed 3 times that night.

On a less positive note i can't seem to get a jacket back from her and im stuck with her pink jacket that i dont want and homegirl is definitely giving the cold shoulder. But anyways if you're looking for a possible lay or even just a first date Tinder can make it happen but like many have already said there are probably better ways to find quality girls

It's as good a means of dating as any. Just be sure to wrap it -- you don't want your dick rotting off from some slag giving you VD.

The general rule of thumb is to Push to meet up or at least get their phone number within a few messages, or else they will end up getting bored (since they haven't seen you in person).

Only just started using it after having a relationship end recently. I like that messaging doesn't happen until after you've already selected each other so you don't waste time, but the total lack of any real info is awkward. I've received a couple quick hey's or smiley faces, but when I say hey back, nothing else happens. I probably need to think of some generalized text conversation starters for those situations, but I'm drawing a blank.

Oh and beware the camwhore bot accounts.

Give it a try-- there's really nothing you can lose. At first, it was slow going for me, but once you get some matches, it hasn't been too hard to get those to turn into dates.

OKCupid works to some extent, albeit it was slower for me.
