I am writing this post on a throwaway because I (32 m) living in NC currently have had a dead bed room with my wife for about five years. We both love each other but she doesn’t care to initiate anything intimate with me anymore. I told her I want to separate and start divorcing her. She doesn’t want to leave the house which is in both of our names. I want to sell it and split it fifty fifty. We haven’t separated yet. How can I get the ball rolling.

Also what are the possible out comes of the separation? For example, will both of us be forced to vacate and sell the house which neither of us can afford alone?
