Are Feminists Against Hypergamy?

I personally identify as a feminist and I’m pro-hypergamy, but reading the comments here there seems to be significant disagreement. Quite a few women believe that wanting a husband who provides a substantial amount of income is “setting us back to the 50s”. I just see it as smart.

In a perfect world men would equally contribute to the home maintenance, and relationships would have reciprocal emotional labor, and men would stay with their ailing wives as much as women, do as much as much of the childcare, care of elderly relatives, and need less health care. But we don’t live in that world, so get a man with a bag. IMO it’s honestly the least men could do. And they will do the least if given a choice.
