HVP are hard to find - but water seeks its own level. As I’ve healed, my friendships and the people I’m surrounded by are much healthier and better overall.

The hard part is wading through the LVM and keeping an eye out for the HVM you may meet in real life.

Yes, they are hard to find, especially in your 40s. This is because HVM tend to get married and stay married.

I did just meet a seemingly HVM who got a divorce when his wife came out as gay. He's sweet, but the jury's still out. I'm taking my time getting to know him.

He's got a great career, asks me out on real dates, pays for everything, 6'3", kind to others, is civically involved and socially adroit. I met him at a party given by a historic preservation charity.

To meet a HVM, try real life events rather than online dating. OLD seems like a good way to meet men, but I think the dating pool there is lazy and disproportionately LVM who don't socialize much.

No they aren't. You just need to be left-swiping on the fuckboys to get to them. Every second occupied by worthless losers is a second spent being kept away from meeting your HVM.

It's not that hard. You just gotta ignore, delete, and block the losers.

It depends what you call HVM : height/income ?

In the US, 16% of men are above 6ft. In Europe, the public institutions in charge of statistics consider men to be tall when they are over 6'3 (1m90). They represent 8,2% of male population and are mostly under 36.

Otherwise it depends on what is important to you, and if you make sure to be in the same place as the people you want to date. It's harder to meet someone who is fit if you spend your time on the couch. If you want someone who is invested in charity, you will meet him more easily at a gala or volunteering, and so forth.
