Being lonely is better than being with someone who treats you poorly. You know this for next time. You can do bad by yourself, why would you need someone else's help?

I was really stupid at that age, too. I would beg for a guy to talk to me. We usually do this kind of things at this age. But these experiences and mistakes help us mature and grow into better women.

I have done many mistakes when I was that young, and older self me sometimes feels ashamed, but the important thing is that I have learned from my mistakes. I know my value now and i do not put up with that level of stupidness anymore.

And that's the right way to look at your mistakes. Some people become depressed and start a self-deprecating journey instead of learning from your bad choices. It's impossible to live this life without having disappointments and making mistakes. So the only way to survive without trauma - or minimal trauma - is to learn how to outgrow them and learn from them.

Don't judge yourself, it's not worth it. You did what you found to be the best possible decision back then. Now you're a different person and you're making better choices. It's not worth it punishing yourself with this kind of thoughts.

Only part I agree with is moving on, I’m sorry but it’s nothing like cheating if someone dumps you because they don’t feel you two are compatible or things just aren’t working. If I think I can do better and had another option available, I’d dump the guy I was seeing too because clearly he wasn’t keeping my attention when the other dude came along and I’m not being true to myself if I’m thinking about someone else. Likewise I wouldn’t want to be with a guy who thought he could do better than me, I want someone who wants me back and if we break up whatever, I’ll just do better for myself, by myself. So yeah, boi bye, but also, step up your own game sis and better yourself.
